Small business owner consultant with a strong background in Accounting, Human Resources, Management, and Logistics. Advertising Manager for The Holly Post.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Business Management.
For more than a decade, I have served Holly through hands-on volunteerism, event leadership, and fundraising. My involvement includes Main Street Holly DDA, Dickens Festival, the American Legion, VFW, Holly Area Veterans Resource Center, Holly Historical Society, Holly Area Chamber of Commerce, and Holly Moose Lodge. I have coordinated volunteers, led successful community events, supported fundraising efforts, and helped lead the community response following the downtown Holly fire.
I moved home to Michigan almost 11 years ago and quickly fell in love with Holly’s small-town charm and, more importantly, the people who make this community feel like home. It did not take long for me to roll up my sleeves and become involved.
For ten years, I served the Holly community through Main Street Holly Downtown Development Authority. For eight of those years, I was the volunteer coordinator with my feet on the ground recruiting, organizing, and working alongside the volunteers who bring Holly’s events and traditions to life. I also served as Organization Committee chair, Secretary, a member of the Executive Committee while being a member of the DDA Board.
When my board appointment ended, I could have quietly stepped away. Instead, it strengthened my commitment to serve. Holly needs leaders who value hard work, independent voices, transparency, and service above personal relationships or political loyalties.
I am running for Village Council because I want to help restore the strong sense of community that first made me fall in love with Holly. I want to bridge the divisions that have formed, rebuild trust between residents and local government, and help move our village forward together.
I will ask difficult questions, listen to every side, and make decisions based on what is best for our community as a whole and not just a select few. My story is one of perseverance, hands-on service, and standing firmly in my integrity. I love Holly, and I am ready to continue serving with accountability, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the people who call it home.
